Please read and understand our term and condition carefully before you confirm your safari booking with us. These conditions of participation have been formulated in consideration of our responsibilities under law. They do not affect your statutory rights. The ‘The Wildventure Holidays’ expeditions subject to your agreeing the conditions set out below:
A binding contract will come into existence once Wildventure Holidays and yourself agree on the itinerary and quote provided for the same. The booking will then be considered confirmed when an invoice is issued. Your contract for the services chosen will be direct with the relevant supplier(s). Your supplier contact will be governed by the laws of the country in which the supplier is located and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that country.
Reservations & Payment
Tour packages are confirmed upon receipt of 30% deposit of the total cost of the package. Balance Payable in full 45 days prior to arrival. Full payment or 50% is required if the tour is booked less than 30 days. If payments are not received within the above time frame, Wildventure Holidays reserves the right to cancel the tour which has been booked and retain any deposit received to offset expenses incurred in the booking of such a tour.
Payments by personal Cheques Not Accepted.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking and cannot be guaranteed.
Booking Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees depend on when Wildventure Holidays receives notification of a cancellation:
Bookings cancelled more than 60 days before departure incur 25% of tour cost.
Bookings cancelled between 59 days and 45 days 50% of tour cost.
Bookings cancelled between 44 days and 31 days 75% of tour cost.
Bookings cancelled within 30 days or less of tour departure 100% of tour cost.
No refunds will be made after travel has commenced.
Your deposit is valid for the dates originally booked and not transferable to other tours.
Although it rarely happens, and Wildventure Holidays will do our utmost to avoid doing so, Wildventure Holidays must reserve the right to cancel tours and other arrangements. Where your holiday is cancelled (other than due to your default in payment) due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control e.g. over bookings, Wildventure Holidays will offer you the choice of purchasing an alternative holiday (and paying or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference) or receiving a full and immediate refund of all monies paid to them.
Prices are quoted in US dollars. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Should prices or costs from suppliers increase due to inflation, currency depreciation and fuel surcharges, then Wildventure Holidays will not have any other option than to pass on the same to you. All suppliers reserve the right to increase prices at any time of the year when costs increase outside the control of the supplier.
Please note that when the clients’ itinerary overlaps two seasons, the price will be prorated over the two seasons.
Rates include but are not limited to the following services specified in the itinerary. Accommodation with meals, tours, transport, driver/guide, park entrance fees, hotel taxes and service charges.
Rates exclude (Unless otherwise specified), Medical Air Rescue services, Porterage, domestic Air Charters, Visa fess, beverages, laundry, telephone calls, scheduled flights, gratuities and all expenses of personal nature.
Price includes our fee for planning and arranging itineraries, handling and operational charges quoted on the current rate of exchange and tariffs and VAT at the relevant rate where applicable.
Children below 3 years stay Free Of Charge (FOC) sharing with adults,
Children 3yrs to 12yrs Sharing with two adult pays 60% of adult rate
Children 3yrs to 12yrs Sharing with one adult or other Child pays 100% of adult rate
Based on two persons sharing a twin room. Single rooms are available at a supplementary rate and are subject to availability. Hotels, lodges and tented camps are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar establishments.
Wildventure Holidays reserves the right to substitute accommodations with similar accommodation of the same category and standard.
In the unlikely event that a tour member has a dispute whilst on safari this must immediately be brought to the attention (and put on record) of the local representative, Hotel, Lodge or Camp management. It is likely that the tour member’s complaint will be satisfactorily resolved there and then. If, however, this is not the case and the tour member wishes to pursue the matter on their return from safari, it is essential the complaint be communicated in writing to Wildventure Holidays within 14 days of the end of tour quoting tour reference, destination and departure date. Wildventure Holidays regrets cannot accept responsibility of any complaints, which are not notified entirely in accordance with this clause.
Safari Minibuses, Cars, Land Cruisers and coaches will be provided according to the route and number of participants. Wildventure Holidays reserves the right to employ services of sub-contractors. Multi-lingual driver guides are provided on request.
For flying packages, clients will share vehicles with other guests booked at the hotel. For exclusive use, please check with Wildventure Holidays for supplements, which will be subject to availability.
The hazards of travelling in Africa may inevitably raise some risks and dangers as it is elsewhere. It is therefore a condition of booking that all tour members must have sufficient and appropriate travel insurance for the duration of their tour. Such insurance (which is not supplied by Wildventure Holidays) should fully cover all personal requirements including death, personal injury, medical expenses, and repatriation in the event of accident or illness, cancellation or curtailment of the tour members’ personal property.
Any special requests (e.g. for single rooms or particular diet) must be notified in writing when the booking is made. Whilst the supplier will endeavor to meet such requests they cannot be guaranteed and any failure to comply will not be a breach of contract.
Wildventure Holiday Services include flight re-confirmation and airport assistance within East Africa if clients are provided all services by Wildventure Holiday. In cases whereby Wildventure Holiday is providing part of the services and then clients have other arrangements on own, then Wildventure Holiday will only reconfirm where forwarding address or contacts are provided.
PLEASE be reminded to inform your clients that the luggage allowance on our schedule flights is strictly 15Kgs per person and that Soft Bags are highly recommended, if not essential. In light aircraft the baggage area and weight allowance is limited. Hard Samsonite type suitcases do not fit into the cargo compartment easily, if at all also the compartment of our safari 4×4 vehicle. Due to limited space available for storage in safari vehicles, we strongly recommend use soft duffle bags rather than hard suitcases.

You are responsibility for ALL your travel documents and vaccinations, which must be current and correct. Wildventure Holidays shall not be responsible for any delay, interruption, or cancellation resulting from participant failure in this regard.
The Company and its agents act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel accommodations, tours, transport etc. and shall not be liable for injury, delays, loss or damage in any manner.
Wildventure Holidays is liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the safari takes place and no other country.
All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action arises.
Wildventure Holidays reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for all or part of the services. In the event of such right the terms of this will apply.
Whilst ever care is taken, the company cannot be held responsible for lost or damage of baggage.
Baggage and other insurance are therefore strongly to clients against risk.
Medical Conditions And Disabilities
If you or any member of your party have any medical problem or disability which may affect your holiday, please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen arrangements. In any event, you must give us full details in writing at the time of booking. If we reasonably feel unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline the booking or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details.
Amendments By You
If you wish to change your itinerary after a deposit has been made we will do our utmost to make the changes required, provided that notification is received in writing. Every change is subject to a fee depending on your amendments.
The company and its owner, director, management staff and employees shall not be held responsible for any injury or death to persons on tour, nor for loss or damage to personal property, how ever they may be caused. The company draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent risks present when on Safari, or when engaging in any strenuous physical activity. It is your sole responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice as to medication, immunization, and whether or not you are fit enough to undertake the trip, prior to departure. The company shall not be liable for illness, injury or death sustained whilst visiting the properties owned and managed by the company.
The Company reserves the right to use any photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing or any other advertising material. The client hereby gives consent to use such photographs and authorises the Company to retain copyright for these photographs and such material.
We cannot be held responsible for road and airstrip conditions, which may make travel impossible at times. Any changes to the initial itinerary are subject to the conditions and rates outlined above, despite any access matters or weather conditions.
